Regarding freedom of expression by the Center for Sustainable Fisheries members
The foundation of American’s Freedoms is freedom of speech. CSF’s board is committed to the responsible exercise of individual expression by all of our members. However, speech which advocates violence cannot be condoned or tolerated. CSF believes in the reform of fisheries management by working with the Regional Fishery Councils, NMFS, and when necessary, the Court system to bring about a more balanced approach to fishery management. Please join CSF in a responsible discussion based on accurate, real time science to develop an accountable fishery management system that balances fishery conservation with the socio-economic health of our fishing communities and industries.
